The Resonance Council
A 6-Month COUNCIL for Experienced Group Facilitators, Space Holders & Community Leaders
OctobeR 2026 - April 2027
You already know how to hold space.
You’ve led retreats, facilitated masterminds, tended circles, and guided communities.
But the deeper you go into this work, the more nuanced it becomes.
Conflict emerges.
Difficult feedback arrives.
Your own nervous system gets activated.
You find yourself struggling to discern when to adapt,
and when to stay rooted in your vision.
These layers of leadership can feel heavy and complex, especially when you’re carrying them alone.
The Resonance Council is a space to deepen your capacity as a space holder - with depth, discernment & support.
A place where your leadership can become more grounded, skillful, spacious & resilient.
This council is for people who are already deeply involved in the work of holding groups, communities, circles, or councils.
You may be:
Leading relational group programs or masterminds (online or in-person)
Facilitating retreats or immersive experiences
Holding circles, councils, or community spaces
Serving as a community leader, spiritual leader, or relational tender within an organization
Stewarding intentional group spaces over long periods of time.
You already know that great facilitation is about more than content. It requires relational intelligence, trust-building, and skillful navigation of group dynamics.
You've developed tools, structures, and frameworks…
Now you're ready for the next layer: deeper discernment, a more nuanced understanding of group process, and greater steadiness when things wobble.
This space is part advanced facilitator training, part personalized mentorship, and part wise peer camaraderie — a place to deepen your craft, explore real challenges, and continue evolving alongside fellow practitioners.
Hi! I’m Sarah.
I was raised in a community oriented context, where balancing the needs of many, navigating different values and perspectives, and sharing the intimacies of everyday life, were all part of my core upbringing. My childhood home had a pretty open door, and the concept of the potluck, and ‘leaving enough to go around’ were part of my earliest trainings. I was running my first ‘group program’ before I hit puberty (think tree-houses and ‘ground rules’), and have spent the last 2+ decades refining my craft.
I have lived in intentional community on shared land with other families, I have coached over a 100 leaders to navigate their team dynamics, led my own group programs, retreats, and immersive experiences, and built a flourishing community in my local place.
One of the reflections I hear most often, is that people feel a sense of belonging in the spaces I create. I truly believe that’s a skill that can be developed in all of us.
I am naturally drawn to nuance, and into the depths of relationships, and it is a joy to support others in navigating those complex waters.
It is my intention to hold a space that strengthens and deepens your leadership - offering guidance, reflection, and support as you continue evolving in this work.
Through our time together, you may find yourself becoming:
More grounded and courageous in your leadership
Less reactive in moments of tension or uncertainty.
More discerning, steady, and able to trust yourself within complexity.
More confident in your facilitation
You will become more willing to take thoughtful risks, respond creatively, and lead with greater authenticity.
Not because you’ll always have the “right” answer, but because your capacity to navigate the unknown will grow.
More supported and less alone
Leadership can be profoundly isolating, especially when holding confidential or emotionally complex spaces. This well-held container offers mentorship, reflection, and resonance with peers who understand the responsibility and nuance of this work.
This is a space for you to come and grapple with what is real and challenging, surrounded by those doing similar work with the same level of care and attention to detail.
Above all, you’ll leave more equipped to hold relational depth
With expanded skills and frameworks for:
crafting intentional agreements and structures
navigating conflict, tension, and rupture
receiving and integrating feedback
cultivating group coherence and trust
facilitating meaningful completion
tending your own internal experience while holding others
And a community of other wise leaders holding the tension, difficult decision-making, and relational nuance alongside you.
Over six months, we’ll move through the arc of group leadership:
Setting the Container
We’ll cover how to create strong foundations through clear agreements, expectations, relational design, and structures that support safety, coherence, trust, and alignment with the true purpose of any group space.
The Inner Experience of Leadership
We’ll explore ways to work with the vulnerability, activation, anxiety, imposter syndrome, and relational patterns that can emerge while holding others - and learn how to stay grounded and resourced without asking participants to hold you in return.
Conflict, Difference & Rupture
We’ll learn how to navigate tension, discomfort, differing expectations, feedback, and conflict with greater discernment - including when to pause and tend the field, and when to continue moving forward.
Authority, Adaptability & Leadership Discernment
We’ll explore the balance between staying rooted in your vision while remaining responsive to the needs of the group, and how to develop the capacity to listen deeply without collapsing into people-pleasing or self-abandonment.
Group Coherence & Collective Intelligence
We’ll deepen our understanding of group dynamics, cohesion, trust-building, and collective process - including how to better read what is happening beneath the surface of a group space.
Completion & Closure
We’ll walk through how to end spaces with care and integrity, supporting participants through transition, attachment, grief, and integration while honoring the full lifecycle of a container.
But perhaps more importantly than any of the content we’ll cover, is how we’ll navigate complexity together.
Throughout the experience, we’ll work directly with your real-life experiences and current group leadership challenges so you don’t have to be so alone in the grappling.
This is not purely theoretical learning.
It is an applied, living laboratory for the work you are already doing in real-time.
a space for you to be deeply held while you hold others.
The Resonance Council runs for 6 months from October 2026 - April 2027.
What’s included:
Monthly Teaching Calls
Each month, we’ll gather for a 90-minute reflecting teaching session focused on the core principles, frameworks, and lived realities of relational leadership and group facilitation. These calls will follow the developmental arc of holding groups — from creating strong containers and cultivating trust, to navigating conflict, deepening coherence, and completing spaces with integrity.
Monthly Group Coaching Calls
These 2-hour long calls are designed as an intimate space for live mentorship, coaching, and real-time exploration of the challenges you are actively navigating in your leadership. Together, we’ll workshop current group dynamics, tensions, ruptures, questions, and facilitation dilemmas that you’re facing in the spaces you lead and hold.
Private WhatsApp Space
A private WhatsApp thread will be available throughout the mentorship for ongoing connection, support, reflection, and bringing forward live questions or challenges between calls.
Optional Peer Council Calls
These calls are designed to deepen connection, collective reflection, and mutual support within the group, while allowing you to show up not only as as leaders, but as peers in shared inquiry and learning.
